The newest initiative from the ASEA® Advancing Life Foundation is in honor of ASEA company founder, Verdis Norton. ASEA field leaders and executives will hold their annual ASEA Impact Week the week of 5 – 11 September, the final day falling on Verdis’s birthday. This edition of the company’s annual service week will carry on the legacy of service that Verdis has created, encouraging all ASEA employees and associates around the world to perform one act of service with the help of family and friends.
Past Projects
In years past, ASEA corporate employees, field leaders, and Advancing Life volunteers have supported blood drives, created education kits for local children, sent Battalion Buddy Bears in care packages to children of active service members, built bunk beds for children without beds, and volunteered at local food pantries, to name a few projects. With the newest ASEA Impact Week announcement, these activities and more will now be connected every year to Verdis’s birthday.
Upcoming Service Initiative
On Wednesday, 8 September of this year, we will join the US Hunger Project to provide 40,000 meal kits for four separate food banks in areas of high food insecurity. We also have set a goal to raise $100,000 during the week, which coincides with the ASEA North America Conference in Nashville, to continue to break the cycles of poverty, abuse, and suffering around the world.
It will be a thrill to set ASEA Impact Week in motion during the 2021 North America Conference. Our efforts will mark the first of a yearly series that will celebrate ASEA’s legacy of humanitarianism.
