5 Ways to Rejuvenate Yourself This Summer

Each day we wake up and start our day. Life definitely comes at us much quicker than we think. Before we know it, our bodies take longer to rejuvenate, we lose focus, and that extra energy is often hard to find. It’s a fact of life that our body processes do slow as we age, but getting older does not have to bring us down. A great outlook, positivity, and a smile make me feel young and spry and I make it a point to have those things each day. There are other ways to get that extra boost mentally, emotionally, and physically. Along with a positive lifestyle, here are 5 ways to rejuvenate yourself this summer.

Meditation

jenns_blah_blah_blogLife is full of lists, schedules, and stresses. It is near impossible to avoid them all, but with some time to yourself can do wonders. I take some time each day, about 15 minutes, to connect with my inner self. I sit in a calm, quiet, and comfortable room and just close my eyes and meditate.

Meditation is easy to do and it is really just listening to your mind and reconnecting with the body. Focusing on breathing and bringing your thoughts back to one focus when distracted gives your mind time to reboot and rejuvenate. Stress seems to ebb just a bit and I always feel clearer and more focused mentally after just a few minutes of “Me Time.”

Balanced Diet

Let’s face it, a healthy and well-balanced diet can sometimes be hard to maintain. But, if we manage to keep fresh fruits and vegetables in our day, it can be surprising how more focused and energetic we feel throughout the day. Also, the saying “breakfast is the most important meal of the day,” is very close to the truth. Our bodies need energy to function and our brain needs nutrients to concentrate.

Eating a wholesome breakfast at the beginning of the day sets the tone for higher productivity and satisfaction. Plus, I love me some yogurt, granola and berries to start my day. It’s like a secret dessert I start my day off with.

Plenty of Sleep

Again, like a balanced diet, maintaining a consistent sleep cycle can be a battle. It is important, though, to be sure that we are getting plenty of sleep for our bodies to rejuvenate and reboot. You can’t use your tablet for hours on end without charging it, right? Just like those gadgets we love some much, our bodies battery needs to be charged up to function properly.

On average, it is recommended to get 5-7 hours of sleep each night. I’ll admit that I am guilty of skating by on a couple hours a night and I eventually end up crashing and become worthless physically and mentally. I have been working on keeping a sleep schedule that works for my body, and sometimes 5-7 hours may be too much or too little. It’s important to find what works best for you.

Exercise

Most people groan at the words exercise or work-out, and I am one of them. But, as most of you will probably agree, the adrenaline and satisfaction after a good workout is phenomenal. A short jog in the morning, a vigorous swim after work, or a brisk walk in the evening can all help to rejuvenate us physiologically and mentally.

It is a great confidence boost when I push myself and finish a great work out. And, with exercise comes better health too. We breathe better, sleep better, and our metabolisms function more quickly. Of course, there is that great benefit of weight loss, and just a few pounds here and there does wonders for my confidence!

Supplements/ASEA Redox

The shelves at all the stores are full of supplements promising miracles. They are bunk and I kick myself thinking about the time and money I have wasted on some of them.

ASEA Redox is an amazing supplement that I was fortunate to sample before I threw away any more cash. First, for our body to rejuvenate, every single cell in our body needs redox signaling, which is cellular messaging that initiates the rejuvenation of those cells. Well, ASEA has come up with the only technology that can make and stabilize the redox signaling molecules in a liquid supplement. The process keeps the molecules in top notch condition so they can get to work when it is drunk.

started drinking the ASEA Redox supplement to try it out and see what it had in store for me. I wasn’t sure what to expect and honestly, it does have a little bit of an aftertaste, but nothing any worse than some of those fiber powders. I drank the recommended 2 ounces, twice daily, crossed my fingers, and then went on my way. The first that I noticed was I really started feeling more focused about a week after I started drinking ASEA Redox. As soon as I noticed that I started to pay more attention and within the following 3 days I felt like I had some spring cleaning done inside my mind and body. I noticed a boost in energy and my concentration and focus is still doing great.

Truth be told, I was skeptical of ASEA Redox and what claims it made. I watched the informational videos on their website and read all their information while I was waiting for my bottle to be delivered. Much to my surprise, and with a little egg on my face, it improved my energy and concentration and helped me perform better throughout the day.

Moreover, life can get stressful, age can slow us down, and the world can bring down our health too. Much of it is unavoidable, but we can rejuvenate ourselves and slow that process a bit. Fresh foods, ample sleep, getting some physical exercise, taking some time for ourselves are all easy ways to boost our health. Adding ASEA Redox gives our bodies that extra “Oomph” we need to keep rejuvenated. I was excited to find a supplement that actually delivered and will continue to drink my ASEA Redox supplement, after taste and all (seriously, it isn’t that terrible), because I feel like I am living healthier! Give it a try, I am confident you will feel a difference mentally, physically, and emotionally and read what others had to say on the ASEA Reviews Page.
