Get Involved with the Advancing Life Foundation

Together we do more.

In the short time since announcing the Advancing Life Foundation at the 2015 convention, the foundation provided donations to thousands of people in need. With the generous help of ASEA associates and a partnership with CHOICE Humanitarian, we ventured to La Concepcion to build water cisterns and stoves for a small village. We are overwhelmed by the volunteers who have contributed money and time to the Advancing Life Foundation’s charitable efforts thus far. We set the bar high in 2015, and our projects for 2016 are just as unique and vital.

Service and donation opportunities for every level of time commitment and budget are available now through summer 2017. Involving yourself with the foundation’s charity initiatives makes you more than volunteer; you become a force for good who impacts lives and restores hope.

If you want to be a part of any of our life-changing projects, The Advancing Life Foundation is in need of donations for the following charity events:

Have an Impact, Make a Difference – Baby Kit assembly at Mexico Envision, October 14, 2016

We are holding a donation drive to collect supplies for baby kits to be donated to VIFAC, an organization that helps new mothers who need assistance providing for their babies. Many young mothers have been kicked out of their homes for getting pregnant or have left abusive relationships. VIFAC provides women with a place to go during their entire pregnancy where they receive proper medical attention, nutrition, and resources to have healthy babies.

Baby kits are essential for a non-profit like VIFAC to operate. These kits contain essentials such as diapers, burp cloths, bottles, shampoo, and many other baby care basics, and each only cost $80 to make. For only $80, you can help a baby get the start he/she deserves in life.

Ecuador Expedition

In partnership with CHOICE Humanitarian, we are raising funds to build a vocational school Cotacachi, Ecuador. Where nearly 87% of the population lives in poverty. There are very few educational opportunities in the region, and illiteracy rates are high. Cotacachi’s economy struggles pushes youth to urban slums to seek means of survival. Our goal is to provide a vocational school and training center to the area. This school will provide services for 1500 families, giving them access to education and certifications in jobs related to masonry, carpentry, cooking, tourism, and more. To make this school a reality for Cotacachi, we need to raise $100,000 by July 2017. So far, we’ve collected $34,531 in donations. We need to raise another $6,000 by the end of October, an additional $10,000 by the end of November, and $20,000 in December to stay on schedule for the July expedition. Once we raise the funds, we will join CHOICE Humanitarian in Ecuador to work side by side with community members to build the school.
